XXX Movie Review

The XXX movie is an action thriller featuring extreme sports star Xander Cage pitted against a group of terrorists. Filled with exciting gadgets, entertaining dialogue, and breathtaking stunts – an expertly made schlockbuster which Vin Diesel excels in leading.

XXX is an action movie perfect for relaxing with popcorn and Mountain Dew in hand. Director Rob Cohen (Shoot ‘Em Up) gives Vin Diesel ample opportunities to demonstrate his stunt skills; one memorable scene saw Xander take on an avalanche worthy of Scrat.

XXX may not offer deep plots and well-developed characters, but that isn’t what it’s about. Instead, this movie presents an hip revision of James Bond for an audience more comfortable with thrash metal music than John Barry – its revisionist intentions being made clear early on when an anarchist extreme sports prodigy gives an antiauthoritarian lecture via webcam and shoots down one of XXX’s weak-chinned James Bond lookalikes with gunfire.

In an ideal world, the หนังXxx series could have been more than three blatant copies of Die Hard and James Bond movies. Director Rob Cohen is competent, as is its cast; but adding some finesse would have given XXX more staying power.

Overall, the movie fails because its creative elements don’t provide enough entertainment value or spark emotional connections with audiences – leading them to quickly lose interest as the film drags on and on.

The XXX movie may not be for everyone and certainly doesn’t merit its R rating. Filled with profanity, scantily clad women, and alcohol consumption – its content could easily turn people off. Though not explicitly pornographic, XXX movie still contains content that could make some young viewers uneasy. Still, fans of Vin Diesel and action films should find this film enjoyable and will likely find pleasure watching this flick. HBO Max subscribers can watch or rent this movie. Rental options also exist through Amazon Prime Video, Vudu and Apple TV. There are three full-length films in the XXX movie series: XXX (2002; State of the Union (2005) and Return of Xander Cage 2017). Max offers streaming of two of these films while Max does not yet provide access to XXX movie, however. Unlike most films, this one doesn’t feature trailers or previews but you can find an interview with writer/director in its bonus features section of DVD; interviews were conducted in 2004/2005 for this XXX movie; grosses of this installment are $694 Million worldwide making it fourth highest grossing film in its series.
